Why get coached for Chronic Pain?

Most chronic pain conditions are a ‘learnt response’, which means that the brain and body has learnt to keep generating pain due to specific triggers or under certain situations.

My sessions will help you gain the awareness needed to identify those triggers, which could include your own thought patterns and behaviours.

Do I qualify for TMS Coaching?

The TMS Coaching Sessions are more suited to some individuals than others, due to the level of commitment initially required to address TMS successfully. My approach will best suit those who:

  • are simply done with living in pain and anxiety, and done with trying pain-relief techniques;

  • have an open mind and a willingness to learn about the fascinating mind-body connection;

  • their desire to be free of pain is very strong, and greater than their fear of change;

  • are ready to spend 20 to 30 minutes a day learning and working on specific tasks in the first 2-3 weeks following each session;

  • want to recover FAST and FULLY, without wasting too much time and money on appointments, acupuncture, massages and other pain-relief treatments;


YOU CAN’T GET THE RESULTS YOU’D LIKE FOR AS LONG AS YOU RUN THE OLD ‘SOFTWARE’ IN YOUR BRAIN.

TMS HEALING IS ULTIMATELY ABOUT DITCHING YOUR IDENTITY AS A PAIN SUFFERER!


TMS Coaching is NOT for you if…

  • you’ve had a severe injury in the past 4-6 months and are still doing physical therapy.

  • you have been diagnosed with an infection, cancer or an autoimmune disease / condition that requires medical intervention.

  • you have NOT ruled out infection or cancer;

  • are after a purely physical solution to your pain (i.e. you are unwilling to discuss the psychological dimension to pain);

  • you feel uncomfortable doing introspective work relating to your personal / emotional life (this doesn’t mean you have to tell me everything about your personal life… you just need to be honest with yourself and ready to work on deepening your self-awareness!)

  • you think you don’t have the time to do any additional ‘homework’ that I will recommend (20 to 30 minutes a day maximum for the next 2-3 weeks);

Coaching FAQs

  • Most chronic syndromes have a psychological element, and the underlying triggers are similar for a variety of pain conditions as well as other unexplained symptoms.

    During the coaching, I will guide you towards recovery by educating you and teaching you key mindset and behavioural shifts that will help you get out of the pain cycle. We will identify any beliefs or behaviours that are keeping you stuck with the symptoms, and design a tailored ‘action-plan’ based on your current situation.

    Not only will the tools I share help you with TMS pain, but they will also help you form a different and more empowered vision of the world by developing a healthier personality

  • You may benefit from TMS Coaching if you meet at least two of these conditions:

    1) you’ve suffered from the same type of chronic symptoms for over 4 months, and these symptoms aren’t linked to any serious underlying condition (like cancer, infection, or rheumatoid conditions);

    2) you’ve already tried other treatments without seeing the results you desire (these may include physiotherapy, massage, chiropractor, pain killers, steroid injections, change in diet and other alternative remedies)

  • Every therapist, coach or doctor who deals with TMS has learnt about the approach through his or her own life experience, and then integrated the insight into his or her practice.This is because the TMS approach to chronic pain is NOT yet accepted by mainstream medicine, nor is it included as part of mainstream psychology. There is no University course that qualifies anyone as a TMS therapist, doctor or psychotherapist.

    I am a Certified Holistic Life Coach and Mindbody Practitioner who has gone through the healing journey myself, and was trained to work with individuals’ limiting beliefs and mindset surrounding chronic pain. It is up to every individual to exclude serious medical conditions before working with me. If at any point during our sessions I observe that you may benefit from psychotherapy or from consulting a TMS-aware physician, I will personally recommend it.

  • TMS recovery time varies between one individual and another, but it has nothing to do with how long you’ve had symptoms.

    It took me and some of my clients 5 to 6 weeks to register results (i.e. a huge decrease in pain intensity or complete elimination), while it takes some others 6 months up to a year to recover completely. I’ve observed that the difference between those who recover fast and those for whom the process takes longer is that the former integrate the principles and key mindset shifts fully, without too much doubt and hesitation. Having an open and curious mind is a must.
    Those with severe depression or other mental health disorders may find it more challenging to progress initially, however some of these conditions can also be alleviated through this work.

  • It’s very likely that you have spent more money on pain relief treatments and unproductive doctor visits than you can ever spend on your MindBody healing. After a couple of sessions with a TMS-aware practitioner, you will know exactly what you should be doing and the rest of the journey involves no additional costs, but only your own dedication.

    The question you should ask yourself if you fear you cannot afford coaching is this:

    Would you pay for TMS Coaching if you knew 100% that it would save you from a lifetime of debilitating pain?

    If you are still highly skeptical, I encourage you to read more on the subject of TMS and neuroplastic symptoms first and get inspired by the hundreds of success stories out there. Then, book a session with me when you feel more convinced that you can tackle your symptoms using this approach.

  • You may also consider joining the Path to Pain Free Workbook Program, which includes access to resources created by myself and my business partner Duncan Clarke. You will get lifetime access to all resources for $39.99. Some individuals recover on their own by following a TMS-based program.
    Reading a TMS book is also highly recommended in the beginning, and may also lead to pain or symptom relief.

  • For the approach to work, you need to make your recovery a priority, at least for a couple of weeks.

    This doesn’t mean that there cannot be exceptions - in fact, certain individuals actually need to be doing less, rather than more. I will know if this is the case when I speak to you.

    It’s also worth knowing that once the new habits and beliefs get installed, you won’t need to ‘make time’ for TMS healing, as you will already have learnt the lessons. The 30-minutes a day commitment is required mostly for the first month.
